Annette Yeakel

Annette Yeakel, 82, of Easton, passed away, Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Old Orchard Healthcare Center in Palmer Twp. Pa. Born in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late, Thomas and Elvira (Smith) Michael. Annette worked for Comfort Inn of Bethlehem, for 15 years until retiring in 2002 and previously, for the former Surefit Industries in Bethlehem. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Easton. Survivors: Surviving are her children, Richard W. Yeakel, Jr. of Easton; Debra A. Kneiss of Coplay; Ronald E. Yeakel of Hellertown; Darlene A. White of Bethlehem and Doreen A. Vogt of Hellertown; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Harry, Rudolph, Thomas, Robert and Lawrence and sisters, Dorothy, June and Shirley. Services: Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Friday, October 9, 2015 in The Long Funeral Home, Inc., 500 Linden St., Bethlehem, where friends may call from 7 to 9 PM Thursday in the Funeral Home.
