I would like to express my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the Wynkoop family, and I would like to thank them for giving me the chance to know Ron. In the short time that I knew him, he brought a light to my life that can never be extinguished. He shared so much of himself...kindness, stories of history and love and hope, countless games of bingo and arguments over what to watch on tv.....meteor showers, satellites, garage mishaps...Zoe.....Silent Night in Korean.....all memories I will cherish forever....and one of kindest families I have ever known. So again, my deepest condolences, and Mr. President, thank you for the memories.

Our sincere thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Wynkoop Family at this time of great loss. Ron (The Dean of local history) was many things to many people, and with his passing there will be a void that will be hard to fill in everyone's life who knew him. Looking back over the 45 years that I knew Ron, I can say that he was always a true gentlemen, and would go out of his way to help you whenever you asked. I am going to miss our my friend, and our conversations, but now he is truly part of what he loved, second only to his family,...HISTORY!
