Memorial services for Mrs. Bonnie Louise Cook will be held on Tuesday, July 23, at 1 p.m. at Kent Funeral Home Chapel in Eufaula with the Rev. Jimmy Sowell officiating. Bonnie passed away suddenly at her home on Friday, July 19.

Born Nov. 11, 1964 in Jamestown, North Dakota, Mrs. Bonnie was the daughter of the John Peters and Marveen Vincent Peters. Bonnie had been a resident of Eufaula since 2006 prior to coming from Millbrook, where she was a teacher at Victory Baptist School. Bonnie was also a paramedic for many years while living in Millbrook. At the time of her passing, Mrs. Cook was attending Lee University to obtain a Master Degree in Christian Counseling. She is preceded in death by her father, John Peters.
Survivors include her husband of seven years, Richard R. Cook of Eufaula; mother, Marveen Vincent Peters; son, Donald Ray "Tripp" Greene of Prattville; step-sons, Richard Robert Cook (Tiffany) of North Carolina and Daniel Aaron Cook of North Carolina; step-daughter, Christina Lynette Cook Slater of North Carolina; sisters, Kathy Edwards (Don) of Washington and Peggy Ellis; step-grandchild, Jaleah Renee Slater of North Carolina and special friend, Kittie Jones of Eufaula.
