Mack Mason Obituary
Services for Mr. Mason were Sunday, Oct. 25, at 3 p.m. (EDT) at Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home Chapel in Blakely, Ga. with interment in Blakely Cemetery with Pastor Juno Douglas and Pastor Jack Howell officiating. Visitation was Sunday from 2-3 p.m. (EDT) at the funeral home.
He was born April 17, 1921, in Randolph County, Ga. to the late Hubert Powell and Clarence Wayne Merritt Mason.
He was a retired Master Sergeant who served in World War II and the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include spouse Frances Grimsley Mason of Sneads, Fla.; sons Ottis Sinquefield and Janice of Albany, Ga.; Ollin Sinquefield of Eufaula; Kenneth Mason and Jennifer of Panama City, Fla. and Herbert Mason of Georgetown; daughters Patricia McLain and Braxton of Eufaula; Ruth McElvain of San Jose, Calif. and Kathy Bankston of Spotsylvania, Va. and 30 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers included Alton Ranew, Theo Hobbs, Harry Sneads, Donald Clark, Kevin Lawrence and Bernard Neel and alternates Ronnie Dozier and Bob Furry.
Honorary pallbearers included Don Sheffield, Aubrey Sheffield, Robert Earl Whittington, Gary McIntosh, Bobby McDaniel and Guy Edwards.
