HANOVER Barbara A. Noel, 65, entered into God's eternal care Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Cross Keys Village in New Oxford. She was the wife of Francis C. Noel Jr., her husband of 39 years. Born February 28, 1947, in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Carroll and Rita (Brady) Little. Barb was a 1966 graduate of Delone Catholic High School in McSherrystown and a member of Sacred Heart Basilica in Edgegrove. She enjoyed collecting antiques and especially spending time with her family. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Tina Knotts and husband, David of New Oxford and Rebecca Thoman and husband, Keith of Hanover; three grandchildren, Amber Smith, Curtis Smith and Brooke Thoman; five siblings, Jean Noel of Hanover, Lisa Lippy of New Oxford, Bill Little, Donald Little, and Wayne Little, all of Hanover. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Basilica in Edgegrove, with the Rev. Lawrence W. Sherdel officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Edgegrove. Relatives and friends will be received Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home, 501 Ridge Ave., McSherrystown with prayers at 8 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be Don, Wayne and Bill Little, Terry Noel, Keith Thoman and David Knotts. Memorial contributions in memory of Barb may be made to VNA/Hospice, 440 N. Madison St., Hanover, PA 17331; or to Sacred Heart Basilica, 30 Basilica Dr., Hanover, PA 17331. Our sincere sympathy for the passing of Barb. Her life was cut short but now she is at peace with the Lord. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you and may her memories last a lifetime.

Out sympathy to Frank, daughters, grandchildren, brothers,sisters, and the entire family for this loss, Barb was a very sweet person and i will not forget the times we shared at football games and the races and other places that i talked her into going with me. She is at a better place but will be sadly missed. God Bless.
