Sterner, Bradley E.  
HANOVER Bradley E. Sterner, 60, of entered into God's eternal care Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the York Hospital. Born December 26, 1954 in Hanover, he was the son of Donald L. and Edna (Miller) Sterner. Brad was the loving husband of Joan B. (Nace) Sterner with whom he would have shared thirty-seven years of marriage on June 17, 2015. Brad was a 1972 graduate of South Western High School, Hanover, and earned his Associate's Degree at Pennsylvania State University, York Campus. Brad worked for W. L. Sterner for over twenty years and then for Finch Services for ten years as a parts specialist. During tax season, he was employed by H & R Block for the past five years. Brad was active with the Cub Scouts and DeMolay International. During high school he played the trombone with the South Western High School Band, he was a former member of the Moose Band, the Littlestown Band and other various bands in the community. In addition to his loving wife, Joan, Brad is survived by his daughters, Aislinn J. VonSas and her husband, Matthew of McSherrystown, Erica R. Sterner of Hanover, Kristin N. Keating and her husband, Nicholas of Hanover and Laura M L Sterner of Seoul, South Korea; three grandchildren, Cayden, Aria, and Jax; and two sisters, Debra S. Meckley and her husband, Dennis of Gettysburg and Janice K. Deveney and her husband, Douglas of Mechanicsburg. A funeral service to celebrate and remember Brad's life will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Calvary Bible Church, 603 Wilson Avenue, Hanover, with the Rev. Rick Quinnett officiating. Viewings and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 3, 2015 and from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the church. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover, PA. Serving as casketbearers will be Matthew VonSas, Nicholas Keating, Stephen Nace, Jeffrey Nace, Jeffrey Deveney, Travis Meckley, Glenn Nace, and Tony Wagaman. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Brad's memory to Calvary Bible Church, 603 Wilson Avenue, Hanover, PA 17331 or the Gideons International, P.O. Box 675, Hanover, PA. Snyder, Edna  
HANOVER Edna Wonder Snyder, 85, entered into God's eternal care on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at her daughter's home in Westminster, Md. Born on Thursday, March 6, 1930, in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late George and Bertha Mae Toomey Wonder. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Mertis Leroy Snyder, Sr., who died October 22, 2014; and an infant son, Donald Snyder. Mrs. Snyder was a member of the Harvest Time Temple. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who enjoyed cooking and sewing. Survivors include three sons, Mertis Snyder, Jr. and his wife, Linda Faye, and Glenn Snyder, all of Hanover, and David Snyder and his wife, Ellen of Spring Grove; two daughters, Lynn Shorb and her husband, Terry of Westminster, Md., and Vonnie Renshaw and her husband, Albert of Hanover; a sister, Estie Luckenbaugh; a brother, Daniel Wonder; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 30, 2015, at Harvest Time Temple with The Rev. Fred Mummert officiating. Burial will follow in York Road Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Snyder, Eloise I.  
HANOVER Eloise I. Snyder 86, entered into God's eternal care, Monday, March 23, 2015 at Wellspan Surgery and Rehabilitation Hospital in York. Born April 11, 1928 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Guy F. and Esther V. (Rohrbaugh) Brodbeck. Eloise was the loving wife of Kenneth M. Snyder who died January 23, 1981. Eloise was a 1945 graduate of Codorus Township High School and a 1948 graduate of the York Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and the Golden Rule Sunday School Class. Mrs. Snyder retired in 1987 from the Hanover Hospital after 22 years of service. Eloise is survived by her daughter, Christine A. Lee and her husband, Harvey of Littlestown; her grandsons, Thomas and Padriac Lee both of Littlestown; and her sister, Janet C. Jamison of York. A graveside service celebrate Eloise's life will be held 11:30 a.m., Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Rest Haven Cemetery with the Rev. Peg Grzelkowski officiating. There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Eloise to Trinity United Church of Christ, 116 York Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
