Arendt, Norma J.  
SPRING GROVE Norma J. Arendt, 76, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at the Golden Living Center, Gettysburg. She was the wife of Thomas E. Arendt, who entered into rest June 14, 2012. Born on July 3, 1938, Norma was the daughter of the late Paul and Florine Baublitz and was preceded in death by her brother, Jody L. Baublitz. She retired from Builders Square in 1999. Norma loved to do counted cross stitch and enjoyed reading, watching and listening to murder mysteries, and spending time with her family and friends. Norma is survived by her daughter, Lori L. Weigl and her husband, John W. Weigl of Hudson, N.Y.; daughter, Paige S. Arendt and partner, Melissa A. Bittle of Hanover; two grandsons, Joshua T. Weigl of Red Lion, and Kaid R. Oberdorff of Hanover; close family friend and daughter, Heather L. Witmer of York; sister, Terrie L. Lando of Reading; three sisters-in-law, Mary E. Laughman of Spring Grove, Dorothy C. Arendt of Philadelphia, and Hilda Arendt of Glen Rock; along with several nieces and nephews. Norma is remembered by her family and friends as very loving, wonderful, giving, and so much fun to be around. She and Tom were the BEST PARENTS ans GRANDPARENTS on the planet.
