Becker, Kenneth L.  
WILDWOOD, FL Kenneth L. Becker, 68, died at Lane Purcell Hospice House, Sumterville, Fla. Friday, August 14, 2015. He attended Coleman United Methodist Church, Coleman, Fla. Mr. Becker was born March 7, 1947 in New Oxford. He was the son of the late John Hoover and Elizabeth Becker Hoover. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Becker and twin grandsons, Cody and Kyle Becker. He is survived by his wife, Judy of Wildwood, Fla. He leaves a daughter, Ruth Becker of Dover; and sons, Andrew Becker of Fayetteville, N.C. and Jeffrey Becker of York. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Jacobs East Berlin and Susan Stremmel of Hanover; and two brothers, David Becker of New Milton, W.Va. and Donald Hoover of Spring Grove.

Burchett, Larry A.  
BONNEAUVILLE Larry A. Burchett, 66, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at Hanover Hospital. Born October 14, 1948, in Dowagiac, Mich., he was the son of the late Sidney A. and Ethel Mae (Lucas) Burchett. Larry was an avid and talented bowler and bowled in a number of leagues in the Hanover area. He also enjoyed playing cards with his friends. Larry is survived by two children, Brandon Burchett and Rosalie Burchett, both of Dover; three sisters, Karen Young and her husband Rodney of Spring Grove, Cathy Thompson of Millersville, and Barbara Keeny and her husband William of Berwick; and one granddaughter. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Larry Burchett will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6 York St., Jefferson, PA 17362. A time to share memories with the family will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at church. Darragh, Thomas H.  
HANOVER Thomas Hugh Darragh, 61, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015, at his home following a long battle with cancer. Born on Saturday, January 30, 1954, in Washington, DC, Thomas was a son of Dolores A. Darragh and the late Hugh M. Darragh. A former resident of Montgomery County, Md., he was the oldest of six children and was a Montgomery County firefighter. Thomas worked as a building restoration consultant and loved sports, especially hockey. He dreamed of retiring and spending all his time on the beach with his toes in the sand and a book in his hand. Tom will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend to many. Survivors include his wife, Charmaine Darragh; five children, Matthew, Brian, Amanda, Michael and Christopher; and 11 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1170 Kohler Mill Road, New Oxford, PA 17350. Dayhoff, Arlene G.  
HANOVER Arlene G. (Zepp) Dayhoff, 94, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2015, at the Lutheran Retirement Village. She was the loving wife of Marvin Dayhoff whom passed away May 27, 1980. Born August 11, 1921, in Union Twp., she was a daughter of the late Levi and Cora (Berwager) Zepp. Arlene was a loving sister, and aunt; she worked for 20 years at Double Day Printing Co., and also assisted her husband, Marvin, in the operation of Dayhoff Automobile Sales, all in Hanover. Mrs. Dayhoff is survived by a brother, Ralph W. Zepp and his wife Victoria of York; a sister, Janet L. Hart of Hanover, and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband Mrs. Dayhoff, was preceded in death by three sisters, Marry Lemmon, Mildred Hoff, Anna Mae Noble; and one brother, Earl Zepp. A graveside service to celebrate the life of Arlene will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, with Rev. Fred Mummert officiating. Elliott Sr., James R.  
WESTMINSTER James Roy Elliott, Sr., 72, passed away on August 26, 2015 at his home. He was born on December 28, 1942 in North Carolina to the late James William and Ruby Byrd Elliott. He was married to the late Linda Marie Elliott. He was a Master Sgt. with the MD National Guard for 33 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting coins and guns. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Marie Wilson of Hanover; son, James R. Elliott, Jr. and his wife, Andrea of Poolesville, Md.; grandchildren, Elliott Bradford Wilson, Oscar James Elliott and Benjamin Otto Elliott; sister, Frances Carpenter of Marion, N.C.; sister-in-law, Laura Elliott of Charlotte, N.C.; He was pre-deceased by brother, David Elliott; and mother and father-in- law, Jeanne and John Eckman. EAST BERLIN Flora J. Fragassi died at the age of 75, following a lengthy and courageous battle with breast cancer on Sunday, August 30, 2015. Flora was the wife of the late Lawrence Fragassi. Loving mother of James Fragassi and his wife, Tracy of North Wales, Pa., Dean Fragassi and his wife Karen of Bear, Del. and Bonnie Heisler and her husband Edward of East Berlin; loving grandmother of James, Matthew, Sharon, Lawrence, Kyle and Hannah; great-grandmother of Camryn, Jackson and Cooper; two brothers, Donald Dean and John Dean, both of Philadelphia; and one sister, Nancy Haag of Philadelphia. Following cremation, relatives and friends are invited to Flora's celebration of life service on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 12 p.m. from the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc., 306 Harrisburg St., East Berlin, with Pastor Lawrence G. Reinertsen officiating. There will be no viewing. A private burial service for the immediate family will be held at a later date. Furr, Matthew D.  
YORK Matthew D. Furr, passed away suddenly at home on August 24, 2015. Matthew was born in Hanover on January 18, 1988 and graduated from New Oxford High School class of 2006. He loved to go fishing with his father, brother, cousin and grandfather. He enjoyed building things, playing guitar and making others happy. He is survived by his mother, Lisa E. (Baugher) Lee and husband, Eric Lee; his father, Karl D. Furr and wife, Amy Furr; his brother, Nicholas Furr; and his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Jane Baugher. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents. Nelson and Marion Furr. A funeral service in celebration of his life will be held on Friday at 7 p.m. at Irwin-Beck Funeral Home and Cremation Service Inc., 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, with Pastor Brian Casale officiating. A viewing will be held on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Harris, Richard H.  
HANOVER Richard Herbert Harris, 89, husband of Thelma Hooper Trail Harris, died Friday, August 21, 2015, at Select Specialty Hospital in York. Born on July 9, 1926, in Schenectady, N.Y., he was the son of the late Clarence A. and Beatrice Beal Harris. He was preceded in death by his only brother, Donald Harris. He was a 1951 graduate of the University of Kansas and was a veteran of the United States Navy during World War II. A longtime employee of Westinghouse Electric Corp., he retired in 1985 after 34 years of service. He was a member of the Hanover First Church of God. In addition to his wife of nearly 48 years, he is survived by his children, Barbara Beville and Nancy Carfine and her husband, Armond, all of Baltimore, Md., Linda Jackson and her husband, Jeffrey of Dover, Richard Harris of Montrose, Calif., John Trail and his wife, Denise of Finksburg, Md., Bremen Trail and his wife, Debbie of Reisterstown, Md., Cathy Berzins of Ocean View, Del., and Kevin Harris and his wife, Amy of Salisbury, Md.; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren;and one great-great-grandchild. The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Hanover First Church of God, 600 Fairview Drive, Hanover, with Pastor Jerry Shoap officiating.
