Anna M. Mummert

HANOVER Anna M. Mummert, 98, entered into God's eternal care, Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at Homewood at Plum Creek Nursing Center, Hanover. Anna was the loving wife of Roy A. Mummert, who died August 2, 2001. Born June 25, 1914, in Littlestown, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Laura (Long) Warner. Anna was a member of St. Paul's (Dubs) United Church of Christ, Hanover. Anna worked for many years at the Middleburg Sewing Factory. She enjoyed bowling, quilting, and spending time with her family. Anna is survived by three grandchildren, Craig A. Mummert of Galloway, Ohio, Kelly A. Shelley of Holtwood, and Michael A. Mummert of Hanover; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Benjamin Warner of Hanover. She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis R. Mummert, and five siblings. Funeral services to celebrate and remember Anna's life will be held 2 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2012, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover, with the Rev. Larry M. Estepp officiating. A visitation and time to share memories will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover. Serving as casketbearers will be Kevin Shelley, Andrew Shelley, Mike Mummert, Taylor Mummert, Matthew Mummert, and Craig Mummert.
