Anne R. Goodermuth

SPRING GROVE Anne R. (Mummert) Goodermuth, 82, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Hanover Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Dale C. Goodermuth, who passed away in 1993. Born in Jackson Township on August 7, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Nelson Mummert and Aldie (Wonder) Mummert. She worked as a spinning machine operator for over 10 years for Revonah Spinning Mill in Hanover and also worked temporarily for other agencies in the area. She was a member of Windy Hill Senior Center and the Ladies Auxiliary of Porters Fire Co. Anne is survived by her grandsons, Edward Morin and his wife Jennifer of Spring Grove and Steven "Chip" Morin and his significant other Sarah Husson of Dover; her great-grandson, Benjamen Morin; her stepson, Rickie A. Goodermuth of Blue Ridge; her stepdaughter, Shirley Barnhart of Hanover; and five step grandchildren. She is also survived by and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death her daughter, Barbara R. Morin in 1998; her brother, Nelson Mummert; and her sisters, Claudine Berkheimer and Kathryn Kelly. A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held on Monday, April 29th at 11 a.m. at Irwin-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service PC, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove, with Pastor Todd Witmer officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Spring Grove. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
