Chris A. Dehoff

THOMASVILLE Chris Allen Dehoff, 54, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 22, 2013. He passed away peacefully at home after a brave battle with cancer. Born in Hanover, on July 1, 1958, to his parents, William A. Dehoff and Shirley A. Luckenbaugh of East Berlin, he is survived by his parents; his maternal grandmother, Pauline Luckenbaugh; his older brother, Hugh T. Dehoff, wife, Jill, and nephew, Justin, all of Abbottstown; daughters, Bryell A. StClair of Lewisburg and Alexandra J. Dehoff of East Berlin; and granddaughters, Genevieve and Isabella StClair of Lewisburg. Chris earned his Bachelor's of Psychology from Penn State University in 1980 and was pursuing his master's degree at Lancaster Bible College. He was a faithful employee of the R.H. Sheppard Company in Hanover for 15 years, while maintaining his own custom furniture business. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was an active member of the local arts community, employing unique fabrication skills he learned from his father William. He also spent time fishing, playing paint ball, and starting weekend home improvement projects. We, his family, send our heartfelt thanks to the VNA/Hospice of Hanover, who provided excellent and compassionate care. We ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his honor to the VNA/Hospice of Hanover.
