Milo C. Miller Jr.

ABBOTTSTOWN Milo C. Miller, Jr., 88, entered into God's eternal care Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at the Brethren Home, New Oxford. Milo was the loving husband of Sara I. (Anderson) Miller, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. Born May 24, 1925, in Bethel, he was the son of the late Milo C. and Ruth (Boddorf) Miller, Sr. Milo was a member of Harmony Grove Community Church, Dover. Mr. Miller was a veteran of the United States Army. Milo retired from woodworking after 33 years. He was a skilled craftsman and was able to assemble many different projects over the years. In addition to his loving wife, Milo is survived by his son, Dale E. Miller of Baltimore, Md.; his daughters, Katherine L. Nova and Sandra K. Neff, both of Long Island, N.Y.; six grandchildren, Josette Pierine, Melissa McElroy, Robert Neff, Jr., Christopher Neff, Sara Dearden, and Cecilia Volcker; 11 great-grandchildren; his brother, Donald Miller of Glen Burnie, Md.; and his sisters, Marjorie Bothel of Florida, and Helen Lindenberg, Charlotte Airgood, and Martha Jean McElroy, all of Indiana, Pa. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Newell Miller and Robert Miller; and his sister, Dorothy Miller. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover.
