GETTYSBURG David Allen Stevens, 14, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013, at the Hershey Medical Center after a brief three week battle against Stage IV Melanoma Cancer. David was born November 16, 1998, in Gettysburg, the son of Fred and Fay Senseney Stevens. He is survived by a sister, Lindsay Stevens at home; maternal grandparents, Grace Senseney of Elliston, Mont., Charles and Chris Senseney of Las Vegas, Nev.; paternal grandparent, Nellie Jennings Stevens of Virginia Beach, Va.; aunts and uncles Michael and Beanie Senseney of Oneonta, N.Y., Denise Luff and Tim Krout of St Petersburg, Fla., Dan and Beth Senseney of Fairfield, Tim Senseney and Brian Coppola of Fairfield, Cathy Stevens Cruz of Virginia Beach, Va., Vince Cruz of Virginia Beach, Va., Donna and Danny Bollinger of Virginia Beach, Va.; cousins, Kristal Luff, Nick Senseney, Chase Senseney, Stephanie Bollinger Mumford and her husband Ricky Mumford, Brian Bollinger and his wife Amanda Bollinger, Joshua Cruz, Kayla Cruz, Britney Cruz and numerous second cousins. David was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert A. Stevens. David was an 8th grade student at the Gettysburg Area Middle School. He was very active in baseball, canoeing, paddle boating, playing ping pong and swimming. He loved being with his family, watching movies, playing video games, playing the trumpet and being with his friends and teachers at school. David played Gettysburg Little League Baseball for six years and collected numerous medals and trophies. David has numerous certificates on his wall. There will be a viewing at Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg on Friday evening, from 4 until 8 p.m. A Memorial service will be held Saturday at St. Francis Center, 415 Table Rock Road, Gettysburg, at Noon with Fr.
