LITTLESTOWN Donaldson D. "Donnie" Bellis, 52, passed away at home on Sunday, January 13, 2013. Born March 4, 1960, in Reading, he was the son of Eileen Mehle Miller, Gettysburg, and Thomas D. Bellis, York. Donnie was the owner operator of Bellis Auto Restoration, for more than twenty years. He received a number of awards, recognizing his expertise, at various car shows while a resident of Idaho from 1990-2011. Donnie loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was the life of the party always telling jokes. In addition to his mother and father, Donnie is survived by a daughter, Valerie Moritz, Shippensburg; a granddaughter, Isabella Moritz; a sister, Cheryl Bellis Wiser, Allentown; two nieces, Rebecca Snyder, Northampton, Adriana Smith, Whitehall; a nephew, Christopher Jones, Allentown; six great nieces and nephews; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins and numerous friends. He will also be dearly missed by his pet dogs, Charlie, Pogo and Jessie. A memorial service celebrating the life of Donnie Bellis will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Wetzel Funeral Home and Crematory, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, with Rev. Gregory A. Rapp officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home. Final resting place will in Laureldale Cemetery, Reading.
