HANOVER Elizabeth "Betty" L. Keiser, 77, entered into God's eternal care Thursday, June 13, 2013, at the Hanover Hospital. Elizabeth was the loving wife of Lawrence F. Keiser, to whom she was married for 53 years, and who died April 30, 2008. Born May 9, 1936, in Gettysburg, Betty was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Mary A. (Miller) Chrismer. Betty worked for the Brethren Home as a nursing assistant and at Hoffman Home for Youth. She also enjoyed selling Avon as a local representative for over 40 years. Betty was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover. She was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Catholic War Veterans Post 1342 Bonneauville, as well as the Ladies Auxiliary of the Bonneauville Volunteer Fire Company. She was a den mother for Cub Scouts in Bonneauville for many years. Betty enjoyed traveling, going to concerts, collecting angel figurines, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty is survived by two children, Amy E. Rohrbaugh and her husband, Andrew of Spring Grove, and Lawrence J. Keiser and his wife, Ruth Ann of New Oxford; four grandchildren, Chad A. Rohrbaugh and his wife, Aimee, Lawrence F. Keiser, II, Jesse J. Keiser and his wife, Alison, and Ashley Longenberger and her husband, Jeremy; four great-grandchildren, Tanner Rohrbaugh, Brogan Keiser, Brinley Longenberger, and Bryce Rohrbaugh; and two sisters, Mary L. Orner of York, and Madeline Spece of Pittsville, Md. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road, Hanover, with the Rev. Msgr. James M. Lyons as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church Cemetery, Bonneauville. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 66 E. Hanover St., Bonneauville, with a prayer service at 8 p.m., and from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Rohrbaugh, Jesse Keiser, Ashley Longenberger, Jeremy Longenberger, Mike Keiser, and Mike Spece. Honorary pallbearers will be Lawrence Keiser, II and Tanner Rohrbaugh. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Elizabeth's memory to the , 424 E.
