We fondly remember Tick from Ashbaugh's grocery store in the 50's , it was really a shock to me and friends to learn of his passing. We went to Ashbaugh's store for lunch from St. Joe's High School, and remember his smile and friendliness that we will never forget.

The very best to the family and sincere sympathy to all.

Aunt Eva,
Words can not express how I feel about Uncle Tick. He was my 2nd dad. I guess it is kind of funny him being my 2nd dad when his dad was my dad's 2nd dad too. I will always remember the time you all came to Louisiana and we went to New Orleans. He was a devoted father, grandfather and husband. I always thought it was cute how he called you "mom". He loved you so much. You had great years together' treasure those memories. A love like yours is hard to find these days. I love you so much. Cheryl

Sypathy and Prayers go out from me to all the Ashbaugh family. I will never forget how kind "Tic" was to everyone when they would meet at his store and sit around his stove and tell their hunting stories. I for one really missed him when he moved away.
