EAST BERLIN James Aiello, 56, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2013, at his home surrounded by his wife and children. Born October 29, 1957, in Decatur, Ala., he was a son of the late Samuel Aiello and Yolanda and Robert Megonnell of York Springs. Jim worked as a consultant for Hershey's International and was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbottstown, where he was a Eucharistic Minister and 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Kimberly (Spahr) Aiello; his sons, Craig Aiello and wife, Tara of Littlestown, and Justin Aiello and wife, Tara of New Oxford; his daughter, Angela Weaver and husband, Brandon of East Berlin; his grandchildren, Caden, Preston, Ethan, Luke, Jonathan, Samuel, and Gianna; his brothers, Michael Aiello and wife, Kathy of York Springs, David Aiello of State College, Robert Aiello of East Berlin, and William Aiello of Lemoyne; his mother and father-in-law, Juanita and George Spahr of East Berlin; brothers-in-law, Rick Spahr and wife, Wanda, and Randy Spahr and wife, Candy, all of East Berlin; his sister-in-law, D'Ann Brechbiel and her fiance, Brian Fahringer of York Springs; as well as many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. In addition to his father, Jim was preceded in death by his nephew, Christopher Aiello. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, December 9, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 6084 W. Canal Road, Abbottstown. Burial will take place in East Berlin Cemetery. There will be a viewing from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Malpezzi Funeral Home, 8 Market Plaza Way, Mechanicsburg, where there will be a prayer service at 3 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Council #13692 Knights of Columbus, c/o Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 6084 W.Canal Road, Abbottstown, PA 17301.
