SPRING GORVE James M. Lemmon, 61, entered into God's eternal care, Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at the York Hospital surrounded by his family and friends. Born February 6, 1951, in Hanover, he was the son of Charlotte E. (Markle) Lemmon of Hanover, PA and the late Holman "Pete" T. Lemmon. He was a 1969 graduate of Delone Catholic High School. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy. James attended St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5265, Spring Grove. He worked in the printing profession for over 20 years as a pressman. During this time, James was employed by Sheridan Press of Hanover, Print-O-Stat and Maple Press both of York. He was an avid sports fan and was a loyal Green Bay Packers Football fan. He also enjoyed attending Mount Saint Mary's men's college basketball games. In addition to his mother, James is survived by his two daughters, Danielle M. Lemmon of Spring Grove, Nicole L. Caler and her husband Brian of Hanover, two grandchildren, Ashlyn Lemmon, Cobie Caler, two brothers, Dennis L. Lemmon of Hanover, Robert T. Lemmon of Spring Grove, his sister Teresa A. Hansford of Hanover, and his former wife, Jane L. Lemmon of Spring Grove. A service to celebrate and remember James' life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover, with Deacon Tom Aumen officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Full military honors will be provided by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
