HANOVER M. Betty Moul, 92, passed peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at home. She was the loving wife of John R. Moul, her husband of 72 years. Born February 28, 1921, in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Harry L. and Frances (Wallet) Mummert. Betty was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, York St., Hanover. She was a graduate of Eichelberger High School, class of 1940. Betty enjoyed being a homemaker and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Betty also enjoyed spending time reading her Bible, doing crossword puzzlesm and bird watching. In addition to her husband, John, Betty is survived by a son, Ronald Lee Moul of The Villages, Fla.; two brothers, Harold C. Mummert of Hanover and Richard L. Mummert of Spring Grove; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Lou Therit; two sisters, Doris Diehl and Joann Welty; and two brothers, Philip G. Mummert and Edward Mummert. A service to celebrate the life of Betty Moul will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 127 York St., Hanover, with the Rev. Tina Minnich officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at church. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover.
