NEW OXFORD Martha E. Cramer, 86, formerly of Dillsburg, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at the Brethren Home Community, New Oxford. She was born November 21, 1927, in Hazelton, the daughter of the late Paul and Gertie (Murray) Books. Martha retired from the Dillsburg Elementary School where she worked as a secretary. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dillsburg; Dillsburg Garden Club; Northern York County Historical and Preservation Society; and the Central Pennsylvania Guild of Hand Weavers, East Berlin. Martha is survived by her husband of 66 years, Roy N. Cramer; two daughters, Gay E. Weigand of East Berlin, Lois C. Brown of Alexandria, Va.; one son, Craig J. Cramer of Granger, Ind. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 17, 2014, at 11 a.m. in her church, 201 S. Baltimore St., Dillsburg. Burial will follow in the Dillsburg Cemetery-Mountain Road. A visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 201 S. Baltimore St., Dillsburg to help support the organ maintenance fund. An online guestbook can be signed at
