YARDLEY Mary M. Staub, 98, formerly of Gettysburg and Hanover, died Friday, February 7, 2014, at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. Born in Emmitsburg, Md., a daughter of the late Earl and Regina Ott Heagey, she has resided in Yardley for the past 34 years. Mrs. Staub was a registered nurse and was graduated from St. Agnes Hospital School of Nursing in Baltimore, Md. She was a wonderful, devoted family person. Wife of the late Henry K. Staub, and mother of the late Daniel Michael Staub, she is survived by five sons, Henry K. Staub of Yardley, William M. Staub of Langhorne, Robert P. Staub of Blackwood, N.J., Thomas K. Staub of Yardley, and Lyle R. Staub of Kennesaw, Ga.; two daughters, Elaine M. Bozek of Perkasie and Theresa A. Menkowski of Flemington, N.J.; three sisters, Rebecca Simpson of Gettysburg, Agnes Meyers of York, and Evelyn Shamberger of San Diego, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Ave. (River Road), Yardley. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Ignatius Church, Yardley. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
