LITTLSTOWN Michele A. Foreman, 48, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at her home, after a long-long courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of John W. Foreman. Born May 13, 1964, in Hanover, she was the daughter of Dolores A. (Smith) Byron of Littlestown and the late James H. Byron. Michele was employed as a site manager for the Department of Aging at the Senior Center in Littlestown and worked part-time at Wogan's. She was a 1982 graduate of Littlestown High School and was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Littlestown. She loved flower gardens, trips to Tennessee, and spending time with her granddaughter. Surviving, in addition to her mother and husband, are one daughter, Kristen Byron and her fiance Francisco Ortiz; three step-children, Stephanie Brown, Una Orndorff, and Jodie Foreman; one grandchild, Kyra Byron; three step-grandchildren, Megan Orndorff, Tea Brown, Amber Brown; four sisters, Sharon F. Byron and Brenda S. Cook both of Littlestown, Lisa A. Runk and her husband Richard of New Oxford, and Debra L. Small and her husband Scott of Littlestown; and her nieces and nephews, Cory Runk, Megan Runk, Crystal Molinary, Jason Small, Sara Small, Elizabeth Small, Brittany Byron, Kara Cook, Kourtney Cook, and Derrien Byron. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Nicholas Byron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Friday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Littlestown, with her uncle, Rev. Msgr. Thomas H. Smith as celebrant and Rev. James M. Sterner as con-celebrant. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Edgegrove. Relatives and friends will be received this evening 6 to 8 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home, 501 Ridge Ave. McSherrystown, with prayers at 8 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be: Richard Runk, Scott Small, Cory Runk, Sara Small, Francisco Ortiz, and Dennis Harmon.
