Obituary Condolences

HANOVER Miranda G. (Felts) Brown, 58, died Saturday, July 26, 2014, at her residence. Miranda was born April 16, 1956, in Middleburg, Md., the daughter of the late James G. and Lena M. (Sebastian) Felts. Miranda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in New Oxford. Miranda is survived a son, Gregory L. Byers of Hanover; a daughter, Annette M. Ramsey of Hanover; six grandchildren, Sareena R. Ramsey, Jessica M. Smith, Joseph A. Weaver, Justin T. Harman, Devon (Mitchell) Byers, and Evan (Mitchell) Byers; three great-grandchildren, Alexander B.K. Lentz, Lillyan M. Lentz, and Jacob D. Ramsey; two brothers, W. George Felts and Raford H. Felts, both of York Springs; and one sister, Agnes Speelman of Gettysburg. She was predeceased by a brother, James E. Felts; and three sisters, Lois A. Schoolcraft, Barbara J. Lorentzen, and Nancy E. Gobrecht. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1170 Kohler Mill Road, New Oxford, with Bishop Greg Baughman officiating. Burial will be in the Pines Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
