HANOVER Robert D. "Bob" Hale, 63, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at home. He was the husband of Barbara W. "Barb" (Reiblich) Hale, his wife of 37 years. Born February 12, 1949, Robert was a son of Holise E. (Martin) Hale of Upperco, Md., and the late John G. Hale. Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was employed with Towne Pride Interiors, Hampstead, Md., for 28 years. Bob attended Hanover First Church of God. He enjoyed camping in state parks and vacationing in Myrtle Beach, S.C. In addition to his wife, Barb, he is survived by their two children, Leann Starner and her husband, Kevin of York Springs, and Amy Brooks and her husband, Jeremy of Spring Grove; two grandchildren, Ryan Brooks and Megan Starner; and six siblings, Phyllis Goretsas of Hampstead, Md., Janet Martin of Manchester, Md., Arla Mae Martin of Hampstead, Delmar Hale of Hampstead, Gerald Hale, Manchester, and Darlene Ramsay of Glen Rock. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Hale will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Hanover First Church of God with Pastor Jerry Shoap officiating. A time to share memories with the family will be on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be at 1:45 p.m. in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover.
