Ruth A. Mummert

HANOVER Ruth Agnes (Reed) Mummert, 95, entered into God's eternal care, Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at her home. Born July 13, 1915 in Edgegrove, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Estella (Eckenrode) Reed. Ruth was the loving wife of the late William Henry Mummert who died October 17, 1994. Ruth was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, and the Altar Rosary Society. Ruth is survived by nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m., Monday, May 9, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5225 Grandview Road, Hanover, with Father Joseph F. Gotwalt and Father Norman C. Hohenwarter as celebrants. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Hanover. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover, with a prayer service at 8 p.m., as well as from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, at the church.
