William F. Eline Obituary
MCSHERRYSTOWN William F. Eline, 80, entered into God's eternal care on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Theresa E. (Livelsberger) Eline for 53 years. Born October 1, 1932, in McSherrystown, he was the son of the late John Robert and Annie O. (Storm) Eline. Bill was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in McSherrystown and formerly of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbottstown. He was a life member of the McSherrystown Home Association and Moose, founder and charter member of McSherrystown Fish and Game Assoc., and a member of Hanover VFW, Bonneauville CWV and past board member of John Timon Reily Historical Society. Bill proudly served with the Army during the Korean Conflict and retired from ESAB welding and cutting after 32 years of service. Surviving in addition to his wife are four children; Thomas L. Eline of Charleston SC, Loretta A. Cook and her husband Noel of Gettysburg, Angela M. Becker of McSherrystown and Joseph B. Eline and his wife Debra of McSherrystown, six grandchildren; Sierra, Benjamin, Kyle, Ashley, James and Zachariah, four great-grandchildren; Liliana, Jaime, Gabriel and Gia, and one brother; Richard Eline of Chambersburg. He was preceded in death by a son; James R. Eline and five siblings; Leon, John, Gerald and Fred Eline and Catherine Shorb. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Abbottstown, with the Rev. Msgr. Robert C. Gribbon officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends and relatives will be received Tuesday 6 to 8 pm at Murphy Funeral Home, 501 Ridge Ave. McSherrystown with prayers at 8 pm.
