HANOVER William O. Dulling, 88, entered into God's eternal care Thursday, March 28, 2013, at home. He was the loving husband of Lena Mae (Jacobs) Dulling, with whom he shared over 65 years of marriage. Born March 14, 1925, in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of the late William E. and Margaret C. (Pueschel) Dulling. William served his country proudly in the United States Army. He received the Legion of Merit Award, was part of the European Theater of Operations, and earned two battle stars as well as an Army Commendation Medal. William retired as the chief civil engineer from Andrews Air Force Base in 1988. William was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Hanover. He was also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the Masonic Lodge No. 146 AF & AM, the Exchange Club of Hanover, the American Legion Post #114 of Hanover, the Reserve Officers' Association, the NRA, and the Johns Hopkins Alumni Association. William is survived by a son, James O. Dulling and his wife, Sherry of Eldersburg, Md.; two daughters, Nancy Keen of Frederick, Md., and Tracy Bollinger and her husband, Craig of Hanover; and six grandchildren. Funeral services to celebrate and remember William will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 30 W. Chestnut St., Hanover, with the Rev. Kathryn A. Schroeder officiating. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover, with a Masonic Service held at 7:30 p.m. An additional viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover. Full military honors will be provided by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in William's memory to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 30 W. Chestnut St., Hanover, PA 17331. Memories and condolences may be shared at
