HANOVER William George Reichert, Jr., 82, entered into God's eternal care, Monday, February 17, 2014, at his home. Born January 23, 1932, in Abbottstown, he was the son of the late William G. Sr., and Mabert (Chriswell) Reichert. William was the loving husband of Lena B. (Wright) Reichert with whom he shared 61 years of marriage. William served his country proudly in the Army during the Korean Conflict and was awarded the National Defense service medal as well as the Good Conduct Medal. William was woodworker for many years until his retirement. In addition to his wife Lena, William is survived by one sister, Macleta Dubs; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Arlene Rinehart. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Contributions in memory of William may be made to the .
