YORK Corrine E. Heverly, 88, formerly of McSherrystown, entered into God's eternal care on Monday, March 31, 2014, at Manor Care North, York. Born November 4, 1925, in McSherrystown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Sarah E. (Storm) Brady. Corrine was a member of Annunciation BVM Catholic Church, McSherrystown and was a graduate of Delone Catholic High School. She was employed with several local businesses and retired in 1996 from Double Day Book Co., Hanover. Corrine enjoyed going out to eat with her family and friends and also liked playing bingo. Mrs. Heverly is survived by her daughter, Nola M. Mummert of Gettysburg; her grandson, Matthew Mummert and his wife Stephanie of Charlotte, N.C.; four great-grandchildren, Shane Mummert and his wife Jessica of El Paso, Texas, Devin Mummert and his wife Rebecca of Anchorage, Alaska, Alyson Mummert of Grand Junction, Colo. and Everlee Mummert of Charlotte, N.C.; three great-great-grandchildren, Donovan, Alexandria and Annabelle Mummert, all of El Paso, Texas; and two brothers, Jerome Brady and his wife Mary of Gettysburg and Robert Brady and his wife Kathryn of Lancaster. She was predeceased by three sisters, Evelyn Geiman, Lorena Brady and Bernadette Weaver; and four brothers, Donald, Richard, Raymond and Carroll Brady. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 4 , 2014 at Annunciation BVM Catholic Church, 26 N. Third St., McSherrystown, PA 17344, with Fr. Lawrence Sherdel as Celebrant. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the church. Burial will be in Annunciation BVM Cemetery.
