BONNEAUVILLE Marie Esther Kuhn, 82, entered into God's eternal care, Monday, April 14, 2014 at her home. Born September 18, 1931 in Bonneauville, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Esther M. (Eck) Kuhn. Marie was a lifelong member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, in Bonneauville, where she served as a parish treasurer and as a past secretary. Marie served on the Parish Council of Catholic Women, and she was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Catholic War Vets Post 1432, where she served as a former trustee. Marie was Past-President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Conewago District Council of Catholic Women. She also served as Treasurer of the Harrisburg Diocesan Council of Catholic Women for two years. Marie retired from Littlestown National Bank where she worked for over twenty-three years. She also worked for Community National Bank and PNC Bank. Marie served as Auditor for Mt. Pleasant Township for six years. After her career in banking, she worked at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc. in Bonneauville since it was opened in 1996. Marie loved to volunteer at the St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church pot-pie dinners, which she did for over fifty years. Marie is survived by her daughter, Mary Esther Kuhn and her companion George R. Flook, Jr., and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers; William, Simon, Walter, and Albert Kuhn. A Mass of Christian Burial will held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 12 E. Hanover St., Bonneauville, with Father Peter DiTomasso as celebrant. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church Cemetery, Bonneauville. Serving as Pallbearers will be Michael Keller, Patrick Keller, Sam Keller, Donald McMaster, Richard Kuhn, and David Redding. In lieu of flowers, the memorial contributions may be made in Marie's name to St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 12 E. Hanover St., Gettysburg, PA 17325. The Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 66 E.
