MANCHESTER, MD Bryan Graham Waugh, 88, died Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Hanover Hospital in Hanover, Pa. Born July 19, 1925, in North Carolina, he was the son of the late Howard Bledsoe Waugh and Carrie Graham Waugh. He was the husband of Henrietta Josephine Hoffman, who died in 1987. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ. He was a retired tool and die maker, and Navy Veteran of WWII who fought in the D-Day invasion. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid Orioles fan and enjoyed all sports. Surviving are his children, Susan Davidson and husband Wayne of Manchester, Md., Nancy Cuffley Hoover and husband Mike of Hanover, Pa., Bryan "Marty" Waugh and wife Melissa of Lynchburg, Va., and Steven Waugh and wife Joan of Lineboro, Md.; his siblings, Alma Green and John Waugh, both of Lineboro, Md. and Ed Waugh of Glen Rock, Pa.; his 14 grandchildren; and his 11 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102. The funeral will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Suzanne Adele Schmidt officiating. Interment will be in Trinity United Church of Christ Cemetery, Manchester, Md.
