JEFFERSON Treva M. (Krebs) Richey, 90, of Codorus, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at York Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Harold E. Richey. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 16, 2014, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6 York St., Codorus, with her interim pastor, the Rev. Paul A. Haack, officiating. Burial will be in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery, Glenville. Viewings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday at the church. Mrs. Richey was born January 10, 1924 in Codorus Township, a daughter of the late Melvin C. and Lottie M. (Kaltreider) Krebs. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she served on the Altar Guild, and was a Life Member of the Jefferson Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, where she helped with the PA Dutch Suppers and other events. She also obtained ads and arranged for the printing of the Jefferson Carnival booklet for many years. She enjoyed bowling and playing bingo. Treva is survived by two daughters, Ann E. Jackson of Berea, Ohio, and Sharon M. Andrews of York; a son, Steven L. Richey of Codorus; a stepson, Harold E. Richey, II of Aspen, Colo.; grandchildren, Evan and Cory Andrews, and Robert, Aaron, and Christopher Richey; a step grandson, Richard M.T. Jackson; and a sister, Laura M. Baum of Codorus. She was predeceased by a sister, Miriam G. Glatfelter; and four brothers, Curvin K. Krebs, Alton K. Krebs, George U. Krebs, and Russell K. Krebs.
