HANOVER Ruby E. Fuhrman, 90, entered into God's eternal care, Sunday, June 22, 2014, at her home. Born August 19, 1923, in York, she was the daughter of the late Merrit and Helen C. (Huff) Weaver. Ruby was the loving wife of the late William Fuhrman. Ruby graduated from Eichelberger High School in 1942. Ruby retired in 1988 from SKF, Hanover. She was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Baltimore Orioles, the Baltimore Ravens, Penn State football, golf, college and high school wrestling. Ruby was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover. Ruby is survived by her grandchildren, Cory Beckner and his wife Kimberly, Wendy Beckner, Lisa Altland and Danielle Wildasin; one great-grandchild, Allen Altland; and a sister, Sally A. Ehrman. She was preceded in death by her children, James L. Wildasin and Cynthia A. Beckner, and her brother, John J. Loss. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA, with Father Stephen Kelley as celebrant. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover. The family will receive friends and share memories from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Ruby may be made to the Hospice Program of the VNA of Hanover & Spring Grove, 440 N. Madison St., Hanover, PA.
