HANOVER Glen "Doc" Desrosiers, 67, entered into God's eternal care on Saturday, June 28, 2014, at home. He was the loving husband of Sandra L. (Hertel) Desrosiers, Hanover. He was born May 5, 1947, in Baltimore, Md., the son of Jacqueline Mae (Oullette) Wentz, York, and the late Henry Marcel Desrosiers. Glen served in the U.S. Coast Guard and attended Hanover First Church of God. He was a doctor of chiropractic and herbal medicine for 18 years in Emmaus, retiring in 1991. An avid car enthusiast, he was an auto parts vendor at the Carlisle auto events and a builder of street rods. He enjoyed scuba diving and traveling to exotic places. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a step-son, Bryan Sharrow and wife Juliet, Hanover; three daughters, Jessie Duren, Jamie Desrosiers and Jodi Kirsten; and 11 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Sunday, July 13, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Hanover First Church of God, 600 Fairview Drive, Hanover, with Pastor Dan Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends and share memories from 2 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. Military honors will be conducted by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard. Final committal will be private in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown. Contributions in memory of Glen "Doc" Desrosiers may be made to the , 924 N. Colonial Avenue, York, PA 17403.
