HANOVER Mabel E. Smith, 81, entered into God's care on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, of natural causes, surrounded by loving family, at York Hospital. Born to the late James and Helen Smith Decker, on February 12, 1933, in Adams County, Mabel attended Biglerville High School, had been employed at Home Mutual Life Ins., and was a member of St. David's U.C.C. Church. Mabel was preceded in death by three sisters, Ethel Hoopert, Mildred Cleaver, and Kathryn Thomas; by two brothers, Lloyd Decker and John Decker; and by one son, Randy Fraim. Mabel is survived by two sons, Fred Fraim and Joseph Smith; by one brother, Clair (Jim) Decker; by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and by her dear companion, Robert L. Wentz. Graveside services will be private. Mabel requested that donations in her memory be made to the , P.O. Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033.
