HAMPSTEAD Pearl Marvel Sanders, 87, died on Wednesday July 15, 2009, at Long View Nursing Home, Manchester, Md. She was the wife of Theron Earl Sanders, who died in 1976. Born December 29, 1921, in Carroll County, Md., she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Crue Calp. She had been a seamstress with the Hampstead Sewing Factory. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Hampstead and the ladies auxiliary of Westminster Chapter 897, Women of the Moose. Surviving are daughters, Bonnie L. Fringer of Union Bridge, Md., Barbara Haines of Hanover, and Carolyn Leech of Bendersville; six grand children; and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Clarence, Curtis, Gilbert, Samuel, Myerl, John and Walter Calp; a sister, Mary Hare; and a grandson, Randy Coppersmith. Friends may call on Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main St., Hampstead. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with her pastor, the Rev.
