HANOVER Rodney D. Sinnott, 64, entered into God's eternal care, Monday, June 18, 2012, at Hanover Hall Nursing Center. He was the husband of 41 years to Annette B. (Sirois) Sinnott. Born July 26, 1947, in Baltimore, Md., he was the adopted son of John Sinnott Jr. of Rocky Ridge, Md. and the late Carl Carawan and Helen (Kirk) Sinnott. Rodney was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hanover, and the American Legion. He was a 1965 graduate of Milford Mill High School, Md. and served proudly in the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam conflict. Surviving in addition to his wife are three children; Chad A. Sinnott and Brandon D. Sinnott both of Hanover, and Danielle R. Shearer and her husband Daniel of Pittsburgh; one grandson, Francis M. Shearer; and three siblings, John Sinnott III of Martinsburg, W. Va., Robin Morris of Emmitsburg, Md. and Linda Snyder of Hagerstown, Md. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tabatha Meekins. Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Rd., Hanover, with Rev. James Lease officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover with military honors provided by Hanover Allied Veterans.
