ESTERO, FL Virginia (Ginger) Tanger was born on September 10, 1946, in Biglerville. She was the daughter of the late James McCurry and the late Ruth Jane Mason. She entered into God's eternal care on October 24, 2012, in Ft. Myers, Fla. She was the loving wife of Donald Tanger, who passed away in 2005. She is survived by her daughter, Delinda Laginess (Tom) of Temperance, Mich.; and stepdaughters, Deborah Burnett (Don) of Estero, Fla., and Dawn Tanger of Gettysburg; eight grandchildren, Brittany Brittain, Joseph Laginess, Delanie Laginess, Lexi Laginess, Meggan Burnett, Amanda Burnett, Stacee Piper, and Trae Lower. She is also survived by her sisters, Jane Weaver (George) of Gettysburg, Texas Bailo (Bill) of Riverview, Mich., Jimmie Wright (Bob) of Hanover, and Sara Pat Goulden (Bernie) of Littlestown; and a brother, Clarence McCurry (Bernice) of Louisville, Ky. In addition to her parents and husband, her passing was preceded by her sisters, Veniua Cluck and Vandetta Brantley; and a brother, Ray Hunter. She was employed by Life Care Center of Estero, Fla. A memorial service to celebrate Ginger's life will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Morning Hour Chapel, 491 Germany Road, East Berlin17316. Friends and family will be received starting at 2 p.m. with the memorial service beginning at 3 p.m. (If using a GPS, type in the actual address or it will take you to the wrong address if using the church name.)
