Emma M. Bollinger Obituary
HANOVER Emma M. Bollinger, 94, entered into God's eternal care Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at the Hanover Hospital. Emma was the loving wife of the late Charles K. Bollinger. Born January 16, 1918, in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mattie M. (Frey) Miller. Emma was employed by the former G.C. Murphy Company of Hanover. Mrs. Bollinger was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ of Hanover. Emma was also a member of the Eastern Star, the Garden Club of the Hanover YWCA, as well as a volunteer with the Red Cross of Hanover. Emma is survived by her brother, Dr. Clarence Miller of Chesapeake, Va., and her sister, Mabel Markle of Hanover. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Musselman and Anna Hoke. A graveside service to celebrate and remember Emma's life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at the York Road Cemetery, Hanover, with the Rev. Peg Grzelkowski officiating. There will be no public viewing. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Emma may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund of the Brethren Home Community, 2990 Carlisle St., New Oxford, PA 17350; or the Hanover Red Cross, 529 Carlisle St., Hanover, PA 17331.
