HANOVER Eva R. Kraber, 84, entered into God's eternal care on Friday, January 25, 2013, at Genesis Health Care, Gettysburg Center. Born May 31, 1928, in Adams County, she was the daughter of George S. and Kathleen (Groft) Hockensmith. Eva was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church, McSherrystown, and retired from SKF Manufacturing Corp., Hanover. Surviving are two children, Sharon Aumen and her husband, Bob, and Keith Kraber and his wife, Nancy, all of Hanover, two grandchildren, Cory Aumen and Bryanne Zeis; two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Gabriella; and one sister, Vera Cook and her husband, Clair of New Oxford. She was preceded in death by a brother, George "Bud" Hockensmith, and a sister, Grandlyn "Tiny" Bream. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Annunciation Church in McSherrystown, with the Rev. Lawrence W. Sherdel officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover. Friends and relatives will be received Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home, 501 Ridge Ave., McSherrystown, with prayers at 8 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be Cory Aumen, Clair Cook Jr., Alvin Bream, George Bream, Ronnie Bream, Justin Bream, and Mike Aumen.
