THOMASVILLE Bruce D. Reever, 71, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, at York Hospital. He was the husband of Jean A. (Berkheimer) Reever, his wife of 43 years. Bruce was born November 9, 1941, in York, the son of the late Stewart and Bertha (Bentz) Reever. Bruce was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a lifelong truck driver, most recently with RJ Davis, Inc. in Lewisberry. He was a member of the McSherrystown Moose Lodge #720, loved the outdoors, and was an avid NASCAR fan. He also loved farming with his son Stan and giving treats to his grandson's baseball team. In addition to his wife, Jean, Bruce is survived by two sons, Stan R. Reever and his wife, Heather of Thomasville, and Mark L. Reever and his wife, Karen of Manchester; two daughters, Kathy P. Clark of Stevensville, Mont., and Tammy Ayers and her husband, Donald of Manchester; two stepdaughters, Karen Cramer and her husband, Kirk of Millville, and Carol A. Shoop and her husband, Daniel of Dalmatia; 15 grandchildren, Shannon, Travis, Laura, Paula, Colton, Eric, Lane, Wyatt, Taylor, Nicole, Derek, Amanda, Mark Jr., Christine, and Ashton; and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Bruce D. Reever, Jr., and a sister, Kathleen Myers. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 18, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc., 306 Harrisburg St., East Berlin, with Pastor Michael Anthony officiating. Burial will be in Holtzschwamm Union Cemetery in Thomasville. There will be no viewing, however the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Stan Reever, Rodger Altland, Daniel Shoop, Kirk Cramer, Eric Shoop, Travis Holtzinger, Lane Reever, and Wyatt Reever.
