LITTLESTOWN Dennis Leroy Mickey, 66, died Friday, August 23, 2013, at his home. He was the husband of Ellen (Schwartz) Mickey. Born February 12, 1947, in Cheverly, Md., he was the son of the late Frank Doebler and Dorothy May (Perry) Mickey. Mr. Mickey worked as a computer programmer at DCSI for a time and most recently worked at Redding's Hardware in Gettysburg. He was an avid reloader and shooter and belonged to the Green Springs Rod & Gun Club, and was a life member of the Blue Ridge Sportsmen's Club. In addition to his wife, Dennis is survived by four siblings, Patricia Lester and Barbara Wienecke, both of Vero Beach, Fla., John Walter Mickey of Riva, Md., and Debra Mickey of Carlisle. He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Doebler Mickey, III. Funeral services being handled by the Monahan Funeral Home, Gettysburg, will be private and at the convenience of the family.
