CENTERVILLE, VA Sharon (McKinney) Hoskins, 52, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Born October 27, 1960, in Littlestown, she was the daughter of Robert and Janet McKinney. She is survived by Michael Hoskins, her husband of 17 years, and their two sons, Robert and Zachary. Sharon graduated from Littlestown High School in 1978 and attended Penn State University. She was a loyal employee of Fairfax County, Va., for 26 years. She will always be remembered for her love of flowers and decorating, her kind heart, and her sweet disposition. Surviving, in addition to her husband and children, are her mother, Janet McKinney; two sisters, Wendy S. Massa and husband, Neil of Woodland Hills, Calif., and Karen L. Barnes and husband, Cory of Littlestown; three brothers, Michael McKinney and wife, Danielle of Hanover, David McKinney and wife, Sue of Abbotstown, and Daniel McKinney and wife, Kimberley of Malaysia; and 12 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 5, at 10 a.m. at the Littlestown Chapel - Outreach for Christ, Littlestown, with Pastor Scott Morgan officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Littlestown Chapel Outreach for Christ for the Benevolence Fund, 1144 Bollinger Road, Littlestown, PA 17340.
