HANOVER Earl K. DeHoff, 78, passed peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at his residence. Born June 15, 1935, in Hanover, he was the son of the late William N. and Lucy R. (Brown) DeHoff. He was the loving husband of Mary Loretta (Ross) DeHoff with whom he shared 36 years of marriage. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served his country proudly. Mr. DeHoff was employed by Keystone Weaving for several years until his retirement. Earl was a member of Covenant Life Mission International, Hanover. In addition to his wife, Earl is survived by his three sons, Allen DeHoff of York, Elwood Wonder, II of York, Scott Wonder of Spring Grove; his five daughters, Jackie Harbold of Frenchville, Rosemary Nguyen of Gallarth, Tenn., Kathie Ferree of Seven Valley, Margie Martz of Hanover, and Cindy Fink of Dover; 23 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and his sister, Helen Miller of Littlestown. He was preceded in death by his grandson, seven brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick St., Hanover, with his pastor, the Rev. Kenneth Martz, Jr. officiating. Burial will be held in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the funeral home and from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday at the funeral home. Full military honors will be provided by the Hanover Allied Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Earl to the , 3544 North Progress Avenue, Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
