Robert Watson Obituary
Bob was born Oct. 11, 1948, in Batavia, a son of George and Leah Watson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1966 to 1969. He married Judy Williamson on June 20, 1970; she survives.
Bob was a retired welder from Foster Wheeler Corp. in Dansville. Bob was predeceased by his father, George; a brother, Frank Watson; and a sister, Shirley Parsons.
Bob was a member of the Little Beards Club of York, the NMLRA (National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association) and the Livonia Masonic Lodge 778.
He enjoyed re-enacting, hunting, playing cards and woodworking, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Bob is survived by his wife, Judy; his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Gina Watson Jr.; his granddaughter, Morgan Watson; his mother, Leah Watson; siblings, Bonnie (Ronald) Archambeau, Ronnie (Linda) Watson, Helen Watson, Barb Hurlburt, Doug (Nancy) Crance, Patty (Jim) Weber, Connie Greunke, Lois (Steve) Mix, Keith (Vicki) Parsons and George Watson Jr.; mother-in-law, Elisie Williamson; brother-in-law, Ron Williamson; one aunt; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Chamberlin–Baird Funeral Home, 73 Main St., Dansville, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Kiehle Cemetery, Sparta.
Contributions may be made to the Livonia Masonic Lodge 778.
