C.J. Walker, 88, of Midwest City, OK died April 2, 2013. C.J. was born December 1, 1924 in Chickasha, OK the son of Chester and Lillian Walker.
After graduating from Chickasha High School in 1943 he join the Army, served in two European Theatres during WW II, was wounded in action and received two Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. After returning home he graduated from OU with a Bachelor's Degree and went to work for the Bureau of Mines in Bartlesville as a Petroleum Engineer. Six years ago C.J. moved to Midwest City to be near family. C.J. was an avid bowler maintaining a 190 average throughout his life.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews; Vickie Hollen and her husband, Don; Cecila Fream; Phillip Hoss; Cliff Gilmore; Lewis Hoss and his wife Connie; numerous nephews and nieces all of the greater Oklahoma City Area.
C.J. was preceded in death by a brother; Cecil E. Hoss and two sisters, Edith Gilmore and Irene Hoss.
Funeral Services will be 10am Friday in the Candlewood Chapel at Ford Funeral Service with burial at 1pm at Rose Hill Cemetery in Chickasha.
