Martin, Cheryl D. (Thomison) - Bartlesville  
Mrs. Cheryl D. Martin, 51, resident of Bartlesville, died Thursday November 6, 2014 in Bartlesville. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday November 10, 2014 at the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. Mrs. Martin was born August 30, 1963 at Alvin Texas to Jerry and Gloria (Wheeler) Thomison. She came to Dewey, Oklahoma as a young child where she received her education in the Dewey Public Schools. She was married to Don Peaster on August 14, 1980 at Dewey, Ok. They made their home in Dewey for a number of years until she moved to Bartlesville and worked at First National Bank. She later moved to Tulsa and was employed at Tulsa Welding School, where she met and later married Keith Martin on June 6, 1998 at Eureka Springs, Arkansas. They made their home at Lamar, Oklahoma near Holdenville for 14 years, until moving to Bartlesville in 2012. Cheryl was Keith's Boss for 16 years, helping him run his businesses. She was an animal lover in particular her cats Langley & Latimer, her dog Cherokee, and her buckskin colt "Baby" and had named all of her horses and her cows. Her pride and joy in life was her granddaughter Kinsley who she loved dearly. She enjoyed collecting purses, shopping and "Bling". Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband Keith of the home in Bartlesville, by one son Andrew Peaster of Bartlesville, daughters Rebecca Peaster of Bartlesville, Nitasha Grissom of Stillwater, and Mekia Warnick of Tulsa, OK., brothers, Tommy Thomison of Dewey, and Duke Story of Kentucky, and a sister Radina Story of College Station, Texas; and one grandchild Kinsley Peaster of Bartlesville, and Numerous Nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Mason, Edward Calvin "Eddie" - Bartlesville  
Edward Calvin "Eddie" Mason, 68, resident of Bartlesville and retired Bartlesville Police Officer, died at 8:03 PM on Thursday, November 20, 2014. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 25, 2014, in the First Baptist Church in Dewey, Oklahoma. Arrangement directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. Bartlesville Police Department Honor Guard will provide honors for Mr. Mason. A memorial has been established and those who wish to make a contribution in memory of Eddie may do so to the Fraternal Order of Police 100 East Hensley, Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74003. Edward Calvin "Eddie" Mason was born June 23, 1946, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Cecil and Minnie (Burns) Mason. He was raised in the Bartlesville area and attended schools in Copan, and Dewey, Oklahoma graduating high school from Dewey high school in 1964. Eddie was employed with Phillips Petroleum Company for four years. He served on the Dewey Volunteer Fire Department and the Dewey Police Department from 1972 to 1975. He was employed by the Bartlesville Police Department starting as a patrolman and retiring as investigator in 2001. After retirement Eddie continued to work in law enforcement, working in security at Rogers State College and as an investigator for the Dewey Police Department. Eddie served on the Bartlesville City Council from 2005 to 2009 and 2012 to 2014. He attended the Dewey First Baptist Church for many years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Lion's Club and the Bartlesville Masonic Lodge AF & AM. Survivors include; his wife Juanita G. Mason of the family home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma; one son David Mason of Bartlesville; two daughters Tami Lewis and her husband Charles of Bartlesville and Jeni Dutton and her husband Charles of Oklahoma City; two step-sons Kenneth Seabolt and his wife Norma of Bartlesville and Travis Seabolt and his wife Amanda of Ramona, Oklahoma; one step-daughter Brenda Erickson of Claremore, Oklahoma ; one brother Charlie Mason and his wife Gail of Bartlesville, his former wife Sandy Dillon of Dewey; sixteen grandchildren; Marvin, Aaron, Zachary, Lydia, Marquez, Savannah, Eli, Reagan, Blake, Payton, Brent, Branna, Erin, Hailey, Destiny and Brandon and six nieces and nephews. McCowan, Wilda Jean (Whitson)  
Wilda Jean "Whitson" McCowan passed away in her home on November 17, 2014. She was born June 18, 1937 to James and Letha "Zoski" Whitson in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She later married Norlan Oldham then Jim McCowan. Wilda enjoyed attending church and spending time with her family. She loved listening to her church hymns and playing bingo. She gave her life to God again on December 24, 2011 with her new church family at the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Wilda never met a person who wasn't her friend. She is preceded in death by both parents, a son Doyle Oldham, a sister Rita Tucker, son in law Jackie Duede, brother and sister in law Jerry Mitchell and Linda Whitson. She is survived by two sisters Mary Mitchell and Lucy Bayle of Bartlesville, three brothers Robert and Gina Whitson of Bernice, Danny and Jimmy Whitson of Bartlesville, OK. Three daughters Artie McCowan of the home, Randy McCowan of Bartlesville, Letha Almendarez of Oklahoma City and David and Becky "Duede" Richards of Independence, KS. A daughter in law Bernice Oldham of Bartlesville. 19 grand children and 19 great grandchildren. Also the many people who called her Mom or grandma. The family would like to thank Shanadoa Home Health and Cornerstone Hospice for the excellent care they provided her. Services will be at Thursday November 20th at 2:00 pm at the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

McKenzie, Judith A. (Rice) - Bartlesville  
Judith A. McKenzie went to be with Jesus on November 3, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born to Dale and Virginia Rice on December 16, 1941 in Eureka, KS. She attended Tonavay High School. Judith married Shirley A. Thornton in 1960 and from that marriage they had 3 children: Kelly, Janie and Tony. She later married Louis McKenzie and gained a daughter Brenda. She owned and operated Judys Beauty Salon for 40 years. She loved fishing, hunting, crafting and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Bartlesville Southern Baptist Church. Judith is survived by her husband Louis of the home; children- Kelly Goodin, Janie Thornton (Kirk), Tony Thornton (Darlene) and Brenda Kiselak (John). Brothers- Sonny Rice (Gloria), Sealy, TX; Mike Rice of the home, Ronnie Rice (Theresa), Centerville, TX and Raymond Rice (Lisa) Lipan, TX. Sisters- Darlene Delpine (Vic), Eureka, KS and Carolyn Sanborn (Terry), Ketchum, OK. Grandchildren- Kody Goodin, Tyler Prunty, Taryn Thornton, Trevour Thornton, Justin Prunty, Sarah Kiselak, Colton Thornton and Hayden Thornton. Also, 3-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Dale and Virginia Rice, 3 sisters and 1 brother. Melton, Patricia Jane "Pat" (Large) - Bartlesville  
Patricia "Pat" Jane Melton, 84, of Bartlesville, died Tuesday in Bartlesville. Pat was born the daughter of Clint and Kate (Garrison) Large on Aug. 25, 1930, in Flint, Michigan. The family lived in various Texas towns before settling in Dewey, OK, in 1946. Pat worked at her mother's restaurant in Dewey while attending business college and raising her children. While Pat was working at Phillips Petroleum Company she caught the eye of a Bartlesville firefighter who through friends obtained her phone number and arranged their first meeting as a blind date. She and Roy H. Melton fell in love, married on April 18, 1967, and enjoyed 47 years of marriage before Roy preceded her in death in 2012. Pat retired from Phillips with 36 years of service. Pat and Roy loved to travel and would oftentimes head out on trips to avoid allergy season. They enjoyed spending time on their farm in Lenapah where they keep a quarter horse. Pat and Roy did everything together and they loved to attend any and all activities their children and grandchildren participated in. Pat was a member of the Church of Christ and loved time spent with friends and family. When Pat wasn't out and about, she enjoyed quiet time reading and doing her embroidery. Pat is survived by two children: Roy Melton Jr. of Bartlesville, and Pamela Bandy and Scott of Tulsa; five grandchildren Brock Price of Dewey, Caprice Frye of Bartlesville, Paige Melton, Cori Lyon and Mike, and Evyn Wills and Ryan, all of Tulsa; one sister Betty Kroh of Dewey; six great grandchildren Whitney Price, Sinjin Price, Harley Frye, Hutson Frye, Scott Lyon and Nate Lyon; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter Ann Price, two brothers Norman and Bob Large, and one son in law Dean Price. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, at the Davis Family Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. David Hammonds of the Church of Christ officiating. Mozingo, Bill "Mo"  
Bill "Mo" Mozingo was born August 14, 1963, in Morrilton, Arkansas, to William Elmer and Helen (Griswood) Mozingo. He died Wednesday, November 12, 2014, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 51 years. Mo was reared and educated in Owasso, Oklahoma, and played football for the Owasso Rams. He graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1982. He was a veteran of the armed forces having served his country honorably with the United States Army. He continued his education attending Rogers State University in Claremore, Oklahoma, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice. Mo began his law enforcement career with the Tulsa County Sheriff's office. He joined the Owasso Police Department in 1991 and was currently working as a detective in the Criminal Investigations Division. He was married September 9, 2000, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, to Angela Wesley. Mo was also very active in giving back to the community having coached football for the Owasso Rams and the Owasso F.O.R. programs. He also taught forensic science classes at Owasso High School. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including camping and just working on different projects. Mo had a fun if not strange sense of humor and was never short of jokes and one-liners to share with his friends and colleagues. Loving family members include: His wife; Angela, of the home; Three children; Andy Mozingo, of Owasso, Andrea Ellis and her husband Ryan, of Oklahoma City, Jessica Snodgrass and her husband Justin, of Yukon, Oklahoma; Two grandchildren; Aidan Mozingo and Ryan Dehart; Sister and brother-in-law; Martha and Jim Robinson, of Springdale, Arkansas; Mother-in-law and father-in-law; Dorothy and Nelson Wesley, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2014, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014, at the Owasso High School Mary Glass Performing Arts Center with Pastor Mike Napier officiating. Marsheck, Robert M. - Bartlesville  
Robert Milton Marsheck, 78, died Wednesday, October 22, 2014 in rural Bartlesville. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in the Adams Blvd. Church of Christ with Mr. Dave Hammonds officiating. Cremation arrangements were by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. Robert Milton Marsheck was born on January 4, 1936 in Baltimore City, Maryland the son of William and Anna (Smith) Marsheck. Robert grew up in the Washington D.C. area and attended and received his PHD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland. He married Donna Deane Mowers Marsheck. He began working for Phillips Petroleum in Bartlesville in 1962 in the Research and Development Department. After completing the Systems Science course of study in Information Systems Planning in 1980, he became the Director of Corporate Network Design. His responsibilities included: Design the corporate backbone network; design, plan and coordinate the installation of Local Area Networks; develop SNA, Token Ring, Ethernet and other technologies; and support communications for the Gulf Coast Area. Robert asked for early retirement and it became in May of 1992. Robert was a member of the Adams Blvd Church of Christ. Robert is survived by his wife Donna of the home, two sons, Kenneth Edward Marsheck of Ochelata and David Allen Marsheck of Bartlesville, one daughter Laura Ann Marsheck Gardner of Bartlesville, one brother, James Marsheck of Baltimore, Maryland, four grandchildren, Adam Marsheck and his wife Stephanie of Ochelata, David Stranger, Jr, Bartlesville, Zachery Marsheck, Ochelata and Karmandy Marsheck of Bartlesville.
