Whitson, Donald Ray  
Donald Ray Whitson was born October 13, 1937 in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma and passed away July 7, 2015 at Ochelata, Oklahoma at the age of 77. On June 28, 1957 he married Deloris Sharp Solomon in Copan, Oklahoma. They had 2 sons. Don served in the Air Force. He was an avid coon hunter and fisherman. He was a tile setter at an early age and traveled a lot setting tile until his health failed. He was the caretaker of the Ochelata Sportsmen's Club for over 30 years. Don was preceded in death by his wife in 2003 after 45 years of marriage, by his parents, Sarrah Elizabeth and Walter Lee Whitson, sisters, Onie Moore, Aileen Brown, Marsha Kay Smith and one brother, Johnny Whitson. Don is survived by his sons, Donny (Annette) Whitson of Berryville, Arkansas, Timmy (Birdie) Whitson of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, stepsons, Curtis Solomon and Jerry Solomon of Bartlesville, brothers, Jimmy (Dee) Whitson of Conroe, Texas, Ed (Judy) Whitson of Bartlesville, Ok., and Darrell Whitson of Dewey, Oklahoma, 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Memorial services for Mr. Whitson will be held at 10 A.M. on Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Matoaka Baptist Church with Pastor Sherman Jaquess officiating. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Ochelata Sportsman Club, 2360 Nowata Place, Suite A, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74006. Wilson, Paul Preston - Bartlesville  
Graveside service for Paul Preston Wilson, 69, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 26, 2015, at Flowermound Cemetery, Lawton, OK, with Dave Menge, pastor, Western Hills Christian Church, officiating. Mr. Wilson passed away on June 17, 2015, at his home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. Paul was born December 27, 1945, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Tate Witcher and Alice C. (Crawford) Wilson. He grew up in the Ahpeatone community. He graduated from Lindsay, Oklahoma High School in 1964. He attended Okmulgee Tech from 1964-65 and later graduated from Cameron University in 1967. He worked for various employers in Dallas prior to moving to Bartlesville in 1986, where he was employed by Service and Technology Corporation, a consulting engineering and custom manufacturing corporation, until his death. He loved woodworking and built beautiful furniture and decorative items. He was also an avid fisherman and enjoyed the serenity of his farm pond. Paul is survived by one brother, Witcher L. Wilson and his wife, Brenda, Albany, Georgia; and one sister, Adgy McIntosh, Lawton, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tate Witcher and Alice C. Wilson. Workman, Mary Louise (Bullen) - Ramona  
Mary Workman passed away at 1:30 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2015 at the age of 59, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Ramona. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Friends Church in Ramona. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home. Mary Louise Workman was born December 4, 1955 in Bartlesville to William and Lorene (McIntosh) Bullen. Mary loved tending to her plants, going to garage sales and caring for her family. Mary is survived by her husband, John Bruce Workman of the family home in Ramona. Three daughters; Anna Sizemore of Mannford, Marybelle Wolfe of Ramona, Kay Garrett of Bartlesville and three step-children; John G. Workman of Washington, D.C., Sharon Groomes of Bartlesville and sister, Annabelle Ashford of Delaware, OK. She was blessed with several grandchildren and great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, siblings; William R. Bullen Jr., Sharon Mann, grandchildren; Dalton Tynes, Caitlynn Garrett and Dawn Renee Groomes. A memorial fund has been established at Bank of America in John Workman's name. Wright, Larry Wayne - Ketchum  
Mr. Larry Wayne Wright, age 66, passed away Friday July 10, 2015 at his home in Ketchum, OK. Larry was a longtime resident of North Eastern Oklahoma with historic roots in Bartlesville, Ochelata, Skiatook, Foraker, Vinita and Cleora. Larry was born December 3, 1948 in Vinita, Oklahoma, the son of Walter and Maxine (Smith) Wright. On May 17, 1969, he married Inez E. (Woolman) Wright. Larry lived his dream of being a ranch foreman and carrying on the cowboy tradition. Larry enjoyed sun rise on the Tallgrass Prairie, a cup of coffee and the camaraderie that came with it, straight shooting rifles, sharp knife, broke horses, a well-oiled saddle, good set of working corrals and a cowboy crew he knew he could get an honest day's work out of. Larry was known to never talk to just be talking, his word was as good as a contract and he would never ask someone to do something he wouldn't do himself. In his spare time, he enjoyed working around the "Lake home" with his wife, hunting, shooting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are: His wife: Inez Wright, son: Dustin Wright and wife Jessica; His siblings: Darlene Carpenter and husband Terry; Roger Wright and wife Cindy, and Roy Wright; His Mother: Maxine Wright; and his two grandchildren; Farren and Gabriel Wright. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Walter Wright.
