Mr. Wooldridge was the son of the late Charles and Myrtle Wooldridge of Bartlesville. He is survived by his son, Carey Wooldridge of Jefferson, Missouri, daughter, Tina Fielder, granddaughter, Abby Fielder, and son-in-law, Andy Fielder all of Bartlesville, sister, Charlsie Ann Colvin of Aledo, Texas, and sister, Marlene Pennington of Houston, Texas.
A green, feather artificial Christmas tree was our delight. The twinkling light brought sparkles to our hearts. We had very little, but the magic of the lights made us laugh for joy, and think life could not be better. Three little children with eyes the size of saucers, anxiously looked at the Christmas tree to see the great surprises left by Santa. We wondered how he was able to get down the chimney through the wood stove instead of a fireplace.
Magic was the secret; dolls for Charlsie Ann and Marlene and a train for Buddy. Last came the stockings made and filled by Mom: an orange, apple, candy, nuts, a penny, nickel, and a quarter. We were rich!
Memories are all we have to remember our brother's life. When he was little, Bud dreamed of Roy Rogers and Gene Aurtry so much; Mom made him a cowboy bedspread. She stitched each figure with love.
He leaves Carey, Tina, Abby, and Andy. Our hearts are heavy and we must remember the special moments each shared with him. In years to come, maybe Abby will remember riding in Papa's convertible with the wind blowing through her hair knowing it was fun being with Papa.
