Donald Lee Webb, longtime car salesman in Bartlesville, OK., passed away May 27, 2013, at the age of 64. Don was born November 11, 1948, to Betty and Oral Webb in Durant, OK.
Don leaves behind his wife Rosemary; daughter Lesley and her husband Jim Worthan of Marshall, OK; son Blake and Heather Webb of Sapulpa, OK.; a brother Joe and his wife Linda Webb of Gadsden, AL.; brother and sister-in-laws Larry and Ruth Ann Woodruff of Wichita, KS., Dean and Annie Renfrow of Hulbert, OK., and Duane and Kathy Renfrow of LaCrosse, KS., as well as many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers, Jim and Rusty Webb, and in-laws, Oscar and Jewel Renfrow.
Don came to Bartlesville on New Year's Eve in 1969, to sell cars for the Volkswagen dealership. There he learned how to buy, sell, and trade with flair and enthusiasm, which continued on with his own car lot on Washington Boulevard until his death.
It was hard for Don to go anywhere without people knowing who he was or what he did. He was trusted by friends and strangers alike to give the best advice on cars or give the best deals he could. If there are cars in Heaven, Don will be selling them. Devoted to his family and friends, and passionate about cars, the community has lost one-of-a-kind.
Cremation will be conducted by Stumpff Funeral Home and a celebration of Don's life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
